Detroit Red Wings are a professional ice hockey team based in Detroit, Michigan. one of the NHL's original six teams and were formed in the fall of 1926. They won 10 Stanley Cups (1936, 1937, 1943, 1950, 1952, 1954, 1955, 1997, 1998, and 2002) in total.
Like all National Hockey League teams, the Red Wings updated their jerseys to the new RBK standard for the 2007–08 NHL season. On the road (white) jersey, there is more red on the sleeves as the color panel begins closer to the shoulder. Alternate jerseys for the RBK Edge system were made for 2008–2009 and continue today, but Detroit has thus far opted not to use alternates.
